From 2006-08, I was the Sr. Editor and Writer for Nau. I created, contracted and curated all editorial assets, including product copy, website copy, marketing collateral and retail signage elements. Together with the Creative Studio team, I generated and executed brand-strategic messaging across all channels (web, retail stores, partner organizations).
Project: Off The Grid monthly newsletter
Need: Create a monthly newsletter for subscribers that focused on three main goals:
1) Highlighting new content (video, articles) on nau.com that were focused at Nau’s core audiences
2) Increasing awareness of and driving traffic to seasonal promotions
3) Delivering compact, educational content about Nau’s sustainable product development, and its support of partner organizations (Partners For Change).
Solution: By designing a content template that remained the same each month (much like a magazine layout), Off The Grid was able to cover a broad array of topics in rich yet compact story treatments. Readers were both able to learn more about numerous topics within the newsletter, as well encouraged to explore any area in more detail on the Nau website, or at websites of our partners or media outlets that were focused on the business.
